The Eye Medical Center was the first Ophthalmology Clinic located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Paul L. Marks founded the Eye Medical Center in July 1946. Dr Albion Cross, Jr. became an associate in the practice in 1965 and 1970 respectively. Over time the clinic grew to include an Optical and Contact Lens Division. In 1999, the Eye Medical Center added the Laser Center for Sight. Throughout the years of practice, it has remained the desire of Eye Medical Center to deliver the highest quality of medical eye care to the community.
